- Abstract
The article analyzes a study concerning the metastatic potential of eosinophilic solid and cystic (ESC) renal cell carcinomas (RCC) in young patients. Topics discussed include the development of liver metastasis by a 15-year-old female patient who had a multifocal and necrotic ESC RCC with inferior vena cava involvement and pulmonary emboli 2 years later despite chemotherapy treatment and the radical nephrectomy undergone by a 69-year-old woman.
