- Title
Queering Faith in Fantasy Literature: Fantastic Incarnations and the Deconstruction of Theology, By Taylor Driggers.
- Authors
Kavka, Martin
- Abstract
The works that Driggers focuses on here are Angela Carter's I The Passion of New Eve i (1977), Ursula Le Guin's I The Left Hand of Darkness i (1969), and Lewis' I Till We Have Faces i (1956). Driggers has transgressed many boundaries between genres over the course of his argument, and for him to single out fantasy will seem to some readers as an arbitrary re-inscribing of those boundaries.
