- Abstract
The article examines how the airspace situated along the border between East and West was experience sonically in divided Berlin. Topics include the acoustic arenas that showcase how the people of East and West Berlin lived in and visually experienced separate spaces, while sharing the sonic airspaces of the Cold War, manipulation and control of the sonic public in divided Berlin, and the aural aspects of narrating Germany's past.
