Is Your Investment Education Program Designed to Be All Things to All People?
- Authors
Heiserman, Amy C.
- Abstract
Many investment education programs are designed to apply to all employees in an organization with a single type of communication plan. The author argues that this is not possible, as there are four types of employees, which include spenders, savers, investors and planners. Employers must communicate principles of investment education to each of these groups in a different manner to be effective in reaching the goal of sound investment education. This article finishes by illustrating why employers should care about providing good investment education as well as measuring success.
