The article discusses the predation of the Spotted Marsh Frog Limnodynastes tasmaniensis spawn by leeches in an ephemeral wetland near Melbourne, Victoria. It describes the incidence of leeches on foam nests around clumps of aquatic vegetation. There are other arthropods located on the foam caps of nests which includes ants, aquatic snails and spiders. The leeches documented on the site are ecto and endoparasites.
