The article discusses "class-sourcing" as a teaching method adapted from the term crowd-sourcing. It notes that class sourcing describes the creation of digital artifacts and involves students building websites, blogs and videos as part of class activities. It cites the benefits provided by class sourcing like digital literacy, data management and digital design. It contends that class-sourced assignments has to potential to satisfy the widespread demand for free class materials.
