- Abstract
The article discusses the author's views on a teaching and learning strategy in higher education using the flipped classroom model. She explains the most important assumptions in flipped classrooms wherein student learning is achieved when students are actively involved and engaged in the teaching and learning process. The author believes that adoption of the active learning concept with the aid of technology such as a class management software can help enhance student learning.
