- Abstract
The article presents a study that investigated the differentiation feasibility of platelet-rich plasma-induced rabbit bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSC) into Schwann-like cells in vitro, as well as the secretory function of such cells. Researchers concluded that culture conditions with platelet-rich plasma promoted the efficient separation of BMSC into Schwann-like cells, which resulted to nerve growth factor secretion.
