- Abstract
This article discusses a case of multiple thrombotic coronary occlusions following acute traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). A 60-year-old male patient was admitted to the emergency department after a road traffic accident and head trauma. The patient experienced severe chest pain and was found to have thrombotic total occlusion in the left anterior descending artery (LAD) and right coronary artery (RCA). Urgent surgical intervention was not considered, and instead, anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapies were initiated. The patient underwent thrombus aspiration and stent implantation, achieving successful revascularization. This case highlights the challenges in managing concurrent acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and SAH and emphasizes the need for further research to determine the most appropriate treatment for bleeding and thrombosis in these patients.
