- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 49 years old woman who had a history of renal transplantation from non-relative donor. She was diagnosed with BK polyomavirus nephropathy (BKVN) in renal transplant recipients due to renal allograft dysfunction. The patient was administered with tacrolimus, prednisolone and mycophenolate sodium. It also cites the importance of an early diagnosis to prevent allograft dysfunction in kidney transplant patients.
