- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a cases study which examined hemiplegic migraine, its treatment, pathophysiology and implications. It describes the medical case of a 31-year-old pregnant woman who has hemiplegic migraine. Results of the single photon emission computed tomography scanning and magnetic resonance imaging performed on the patient are provided. The study concludes that hyperperfusion caused and sustained hemiplegia.
