- Abstract
The article presents a study which compared two modes of delivery of first aid training including basic life support. Two-hundred and fifty-six participants with Internet access and no first aid-related training for at least five years were randomly allocated. Assessment was done immediately following training and three months later. The study concluded that there was no significant difference in the first aid competencies of the study population after replacing a day of classroom-based training with online theory training.
