- Abstract
Auditory Steady-State Responses (ASSR) are electrophysiologic responses to rapid or modulated auditory stimuli. The ASSR are used for audiogram reconstruction. In some aspects ASSR are similar to the well known Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR). However, ASSR examinations differ from ABR testing in some important respects, including in the first place the methods for hearing organ stimulation, and assessment of the set of responses. The authors present the methods of ASSR recording and clinical interpretation of the results.
