- Abstract
The article discusses the specific usage of the scriptures from the Biblical passages 1Timothy 1:15-16, and Romans 6:12-13 within the anti-pelagian Sermones as lectured by Saint Augustine. It says that Augustine has urged the public to involve themselves in actual Christian praxis, and live out the Christian faith. The authors observed the theme of infant baptism and the thematic development of original sin. Furthremore, the authors have established the thinking of Augustine regarding sin in general and the original sin.
