- Abstract
The article presents a literary analysis of the 1984 book "Síndrome de naufragios" by Mexican writer Margo Glantz, focusing on Glantz's intertexuality and her ability to weave together fiction, history and poetry. The author discusses the collection of short stories with respect to themes of journey and travel, as well as how Glantz uses sailing and shipwrecks to act as both microcosms and macrocosms of the outside world.
