- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the book "El lazarillo de ciegos caminantes" by Spanish author Alonso Carrió de la Vandera, with a focus on the use of four Ps three times throughout the book. It is the author's view that the acronym refers to preachers of the Franciscan order that used to work among Indians, and were the most staunch defenders of indigenous rights. Topics include the idealization of Incas during the 18th in Peru, life in the Viceroyalty of Peru, and mestizaje during Colonial period.
