A letter to the editor is presented which addresses what the authors refer to as the need for clinical vigilance in order to make an early diagnosis nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE) in a patient with Alzheimer's disease who refuses to eat, and it mentions the causes of anorexia nervosa.
