- Abstract
The article reports on a study conducted by Lei Bao and colleagues which suggested that accumulating knowledge is not good enough. Researchers claimed that teaching and learning of content knowledge in physics at middle-and high-school level had little impact on the developing ability for scientific reasoning of students. It claimed that these findings were based on data collected from incoming first-year science and engineering university students in China and the U.S.
