- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which investigated the effects of human activities on the behaviour of great bustards in a Special Protection Area in Madrid, central Spain. Aside from the great bustards, other species found in the study area include the little bustard, the black-bellied sandgrouse and the Montagu's harrier. The most common predators found in the region include the red fox and the golden eagle. disturbances events recorded in the area were primarily caused by human activities while 3.9% were due to wild animals.
