- Abstract
The article focuses on a sub-genre of English Biblical drama Christmas plays performed during the feast of 12 days of Christmas. It mentions that the author debates over the nature of plays in the N-town script and Towneley script. It adds that the N-town and Towneley scripts are anthologies that preserved different types of Biblical drama with N-town script including plays on the Nativity, the Shepherd and a complex four part play on Herod.
