- Abstract
The article presents an update to the KLEW chart, that allows the students to document evidence for what they have learned, providing a tool for explanation building as per the National Science Education Standards. It mentions that the update provides a framework for visually connecting claims and evidence with science vocabulary and principle. It discusses implementation of chart in science study by documenting what they know (K), what they want to know (W), and what they have learned (L).
