- Abstract
The article reports that the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR) has conducted the as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) conferences which focus on the importance of radiation safety in pediatric imaging. The ALARA symposium discussed the pediatric oncology imaging in relation with oncologic protocols and clinical trials for radiation-related injury. Moreover, the symposium emphasized the importance of developing collaborations between pediatric oncologists and pediatric radiologists.
