Configuration of Relay Protection Scheme for Continuous Co-phase Power Supply System of Suburban Railways.

- Abstract
Aiming at the requirements of high passenger flow and high reliability of urban railways, the combined co-phase power supply+bilateral power supply scheme of substations in the mode of continuous co-phase power supply are studied for suburban railways. Mathematical modeling is carried out according to the topology of the scheme. Short-circuit fault analysis is conducted at different locations. With reference to a city line, the simulation analysis of short-circuits on busbars at different locations in the system is performed, and the conclusion is drawn: when the traction power supply system goes wrong, the scheme of the traction power supply system needs to be configured; when the power system fails, the action of the power system relay protection device will not be affected, so there is no need to adjust the relay protection configuration of the power system, which verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis. According to the fault analysis results, the traditional relay protection scheme is improved, and a new relay protection scheme is configured to ensure the safety and stability of the continuous co-phase power supply of suburban railways.
