- Abstract
According to basic principle of contact mechanics and basic theory for design of rolling bearings, the formulas are given for calculating the load distribution and contact stress of the bearings, and the load distribution and contact stress of the bearings are solved by programming using discrete model of rolling bearing load distribution. Taking deep groove ball bearings for a motor as examples, the load distribution and contact stress of all - steel and hybrid ceramic bearings with different radial clearances are calculated. The results show that the influence law of radial clearance on load distribution of all-steel and hybrid ceramic bearings is similar; under same load, the contact stress is closely related to radial clearance of hybrid ceramic bearings and all-steel bearings, and there is an optimal radial clearance value.
