- Abstract
The article focuses on the controversies regarding the legalization of medical and recreational use marijuana between the U.S. and the states. Topics discussed include modern-day nullification about the health and structure of contemporary federalism, federal policy regarding the ban on marijuana and the U.S. drugs law classified the Schedule 1 drug under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) to control the marijuana abuse.
