- Abstract
The article presents a study that examines spatial relationships between non-native fish occurrence and the demographic factors associated with propagule pressure in England. It suggests that human population density is an effective surrogate estimator of non-native fish propagule pressure and can be used to predict areas of non-native fish introductions. It also reveals that human population density supports biological invasion monitoring programs across Europe.
