- Abstract
The article discusses women in Bangladesh as of 2013, with a focus on the non-governmental development organization (NGO) Building Resources Across Countries' (BRAC) Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) development project and women's participation in the program at the community level. Topics include equal participation and equitable development in developing countries, Village WASH Committees (VWC), and social mapping. Additional information is presented on seating arrangements and participants in community meetings.
