- Title
A RESPONSE TO PROFESSOR PRIMUS.
- Authors
Markman, Stephen J.
- Abstract
The author presents his response to Professor Richard Primus regarding his article "An Interpretivist Judge and the Media," published within the issue. He disagrees with the assertion of Primus that his descriptions of the majority philosophy of the Michigan Supreme Court are incompatible. He notes that the professor seems to misunderstand his characterization of traditional jurisprudence. He points out that interpretivism is the only judicial philosophy that establishes an unchanging standard for the exercise of judicial power.
