- Abstract
The article calls for the need to raise awareness about pyoderma gangrenosum to ensure person-centered safety within clinical and social wound care clinics. Focus is given on the purpose of the Leg Club Foundation to advance education among clinicians to increase awareness and understanding of leg ulcers and associated medical conditions to facilitate prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Examples of misdiagnosed and delayed diagnoses of Pyoderma gangrenosum are cited.
