Abstract
The article discusses various issues involving the indigenous peoples in Laos, and it mentions the Lao-Tai language-speaking groups, as well as groups which speak the Mon-Khmer, Sino-Tibetan, and Hmong-Ew-Hmien languages in the Southeast Asian nation. Land policy, law, and land use planning in Laos are examined, along with the Land Issues Working Group coalition, dam-building, and hydropower in Laos. A lack of internet access in Laos is assessed.
