- Abstract
The article focuses on the social, economic and political conditions of indigenous peoples in the Democratic Republic of Congo as of 2017. Topics include the implementation of the first ever Policy Dialogue on indigenous peoples which aimed at fostering implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the launch of the Dedicated Grant Mechanism for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities, and the delay of justice for the Batwa indigenous peoples.
