- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the expanding categories of sexuality with a growing number of people claiming polyamory as their sexual orientation, as well as its impact on subject formation in American late liberalism. Also cited are the rise of identity politics in the twentieth century, the historical view of monogamy, marriage and whiteness in the U.S., and the gay rights movement.
