- Abstract
The article focuses on the study that assesses the role of three-dimensional (3D) power Doppler in diagnosing placenta accreta and compares its performance with gray-scale and color Doppler ultrasonography. It cites that the study was performed to 170 pregnant women and found out that 39 patients at the time of delivery are positive of placenta accrete and its variants. The study concludes that 3D power Doppler can be useful as complementary technique for placenta accrete diagnosis.
