- Abstract
The article focuses on the factors that affect the implementation of recovery plans for endangered and threatened species in the U.S. It examines data collected on task implementation in early 1999. The study indicates that species with critical habitat designation, revised recovery plans, conflict designation, a recovery coordinator, and a dedicated database had greater task implementation of recovery plans.
