The article discusses the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, a collaboration between Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), and other government agencies. Results from the survey reportedly suggest that middle and high school students in the state have improved in health behaviors over the past decade in areas including seat belt use, and sexual activity, but raises concerns related to mental health, electronic cigarette and marijuana use.
