- Abstract
This article shall attempt to situate the significance of religion and power and its centrality in the process of translating Mizo folklore. The term folklore encompasses both the tales as well as the song tradition. It shall determine an exploration of the translation of Mizo folklore -from the Mizo to English- and trace the underlying aspects that are located in the process of translation of the same.
