- Abstract
Objective: Register the guidelines of the employees in a specific form, according to problems raised in the unit for improving and solving these problems. Methods: This is an Audit and Analysis Guidance Instrument (AGI) of employees, and has been used since August 2015 in the management of nursing in the ICU. Results: The profile of the unit that was applied to the instrument is an Adult ICU with 14 beds, 11 nurses and 50 technicians/nursing assistants. The first step was to collect data: 66 non-conformities in 18 items evaluated in the 3-month period, the main ones were related to lack of registration (30). The second step was the orientation with the preparation and implementation of the class based on non-conformities in specific instrument. The third step was the audit recording the nonconformities in the same form that the employee was directed. The last step was the analysis of the results and beginning of a new AGI cycle. Conclusion: From the 66 nonconformities found in the collection, after the implementation of the class for all employees, it was verified that the nonconformities were higher, because many did not know what was correct and others knew, but assumed the need for improvement in the processes. The audit allowed after orientation, demonstrate the remaining flaws and continuous improvement process of each employee. The analysis of the results allowed to solve 10 items of nonconformities and reduce the frequency of the other 08.
