- Abstract
The article discusses legislation in Hungary putatively criminalizing homelessness and the use of public spaces for housing, including the 2010 Law for the Built Environment and Protection. The constitutionality of the aforementioned homelessness legislation, including Hungary's Constitutional Court's striking down of the Hungarian government's 2010 homelessness law, is discussed. The European Union's (EU) response to Hungary homelessness legislation is also discussed.
