An essay is presented on the author's experience of mounting a production of "Play 13" from the "Chester Cycle" theatrical play. It states that she and fellow honors students at Kent State University spent nine months working on the play which include familiarizing the material and early English cycle plays. It offers a brief history of such plays which was reportedly banned by the Archbishop of York in 1572.
