- Abstract
The consciousness stress of professions related with sanitary aspects is higher than other professions, for this reason, the analysis identified the relationship between the consciousness and alcohol intake in the nursing staff of a public hospital in Zacatecas, Zac. The analysis is based in a descriptive and a correlational form, where the sample was 201 nurses who answered 2 questionnaires: a scale of consciousness stress and AUDIT. The results obtained, shown a positive correlation between consciousness total stress and the consumption of alcohol (rs=.198, p<.005) this means that a higher consciousness stress, greater alcohol consumption.
