- Abstract
The article presents information on contraception and neoliberalism in Morocco. Approximately 63 percent of women of childbearing age in Morocco use one method of contraception or another. Modern contraception includes the methods prescribed by a physician including oral contraceptives, intrauterine device and injections. Traditional contraception refers to practices like herbal remedies, coitus interruptus, abstinence and rhythm method. Both contraception methods are available in clinics and women can purchase the pill without prescription.
