The article presents a case study of a successful treatment of Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome (CCHS) in a 22-year-old woman, emphasizing the achievement of ventilatory autonomy during wakefulness, despite the presence of a long PARM mutation. Topics discussed include the diagnosis and management of CCHS, transition from invasive to non-invasive ventilation, and the impact on patient quality of life.
