- Abstract
The article discusses the problems of current methods for testing the sincerity of religious belief in federally funded prisons in the U.S., and also proposes a method for standardizing sincerity testing. Topics discussed include the U.S. Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) to protect the religious exercise of prisoners, standardization of prisoners, prison facilities, and courts in the litigation of RLUIPA claims, and role of the U.S. Congress in RLUIPA.
