- Abstract
The article reports on the case involving the substitution of client-specified veterinary surgeon to perform a designated job. According to Doctor Jerry Davies, chairman of the Preliminary Investigation Committee, in a case where a client specify a veterinary surgeon to carry out a procedure, the practice should ensure that appropriate arrangements are made or that informed consent is obtain before a different veterinarian undertakes the procedure.
