- Abstract
The article discusses a case report of pulmonary adiaspiromycosis due to chrysosporuim parvum var crescens in a European hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus) which was found dead in Portugal in a road near Vila Real in northern Portugal. After the animal was placed a postmortem examination, it was revealed that it has adiaspiromycotic infection, believed to occur as a result of the inhalation of dustborne spores found in soil.
