- Abstract
The article discusses a study of the maintenance of the health promotion program in elementary schools in U.S. Interviews were conducted with 199 physical education teachers, classroom teachers, administrators and school food service staff to understand the institutionalization process in Child and Adolescent Trial for Cardiovascular Health (CATCH) intervention program. Questions were asked in regard to the implementation of CATCH program, the promotion of CATCH, and the conditions that supported or deterred the activities of CATCH.
