The article provides information on the results of a research in the "Journal of the American Medical Association" about intimate partner violence (IPV). It was found that women prefers self-completed screening methods that face-to-face screening for IPV. It is believed that the important considerations for clinical and research efforts in IPV screening are prevalence, missing data and preference.
