- Authors
Breil, Martin P.; Kontogeorgis, Georgios M.; von Solms, Nicolas; Stenby, Erling H.
- Abstract
The article discusses the Computer-Aided Process Engineering Open (CAPE-Open), a research program which enables users to create and use their own thermodynamic models in all the CAPE-Open simulators. According to the article, its standards also allow developers to provide new models quickly through plug-in circuits connected to flowsheets on process simulators. In addition, the development of the project's unit operations has supported the cooperation between thermodynamic models and the written unit.
