- Abstract
The article focuses on the survey conducted by the Engineering Council regarding the employment status of registered engineers in Great Britain during the recession. According to chief executive of the Engineering Council Andrew Ramsay, qualified engineers are still in demand in the country despite the crisis. Meanwhile, engineers with professional engineering qualifications such as Chartered Engineer (CEng) have the opportunity to stay in their position during the downturn.
