- Abstract
The article discusses a project that implemented a Behavior Education Program (BEP) in an urban middle school in New England. BEP pertains to a daily check-in/check-out (CICO) system offered to students who require additional support. The BEP implementation showed positive effects for in-class behavior. The suggestions for implementing BEP include maintaining consistency with staff, ensuring that the intervention is a high priority in the school and assigning responsibilities judiciously.
